My program focuses on how movement affects both the body and mind, providing a base to apply tailored yoga suggestions and poses. Practicing yoga can strengthen muscles, improve posture, increase flexibility, and more. Many experience reduced muscle spasms and pain, while others notice better posture and stronger, more mobile limbs. The benefits of a yoga practice also gives one a calmer mind and better clarity in overall thoughts and decision making.
Adaptive Integrative yoga can be done anywhere and by anyone of any motion level. You don’t have to force your body into hard poses, and you don’t have to be entirely able-bodied. I offer people of all ages and from all walks of life a real way to integrate movement and flexibility through beginner yoga or intermediate yoga.

Class information will be sent once you sign up and reserve your space (prepay is the best way to reserve your spot). Group classes are $15 for each person (drop-ins) OR $60 for 4 classes/once a week. Classes are one hour. NOTE: I am trained in Yoga Nidra (Guided Meditation for Anxiety and Stress) and Mindfulness Stress Based Reduction (Guided Meditation using Dr. Jon Cabot Zinn’s Program for MBSR - trained at Duke Integrative Medicine Fdn.). Each class ends with a Guided Meditation (approx. 7 minutes).
